Description
A photograph of a 18th century Venice dandy in St. Mark's Square, Venice, wearing a tricorner hat, powdered wig, frock coat and breeches all in gold with touches of blue and pink. He is also wearing heavy makeup alluding to the manner of some of the European court high society during the early to mid-1700's. He is wearing a gold filigree masque that plays on the gold accents in his costume.
This man and his female companion had what looked like sweets decorating their tricorner hats and clothing since the Venice theme for 2015 was about the celebration of food. Their costumes were stunning and they seemed amiable and willing to pose with everyone who asked for a picture.
