Description
The Mill Works is an award wining office complex in Midlothian VA across from the Midlothian Library. The architecture is reminiscent of the spare functional style used in the old Mill Works that was situated in the same location. The majority of the building is built with brick and mortar there is also metal siding as seen in the image. This kind of siding was probably used for an add on to the original brick building. At the time it was a building material of lessor quality because it was not the same high quality metal and thickness that is used in the Mill Works siding. The metal adds interest and atmosphere with the feeling of an earlier time. The photography image with added textures in tones of aqua, red, grey and gold.
