Description
A colorful family group in Venice appears to be from a South American country like Columbia where bullfighting is a tradition, dressed in toreador costumes festooned with flowers of every color of the rainbow and carrying some kind of whip made of horsehair. For a long period of time, these costumes appeared strange to my American eyes and couldn't figure out what they represented. Then one day it dawned on me they could be from a South American country where there are Spanish influences and warm temperatures year-round where lots of colorful flowers grow. I researched my hunch and found it's a good possibility I am correct.
