Description
The Moors Of Cornwall
Upon the moors I did ride
misty, windswept, endless thistle and wide.
No matter how far my horse would know
the way back with nostrils flaring and so
head home to hearth, hot coals glowing
disarming the chill blanketed with acceptance, knowing
there is no better life to live but in that wild country,Cornwall!

The Poldark estate in Cornwall is the center of the Poldark family and tradition in the popular 1700's costume BBC TV production and the set of twelve novels by Winston Graham. The main character, Ross Poldark has a dark and brooding character along with having to build up a ruined estate and mines of his father, the younger brother of the lord of the family estate. Chavenage House in Tetbury, Wiltshire was used for exterior and interior shots of the house for the Poldark BBC1 series. A digital drawing and painting.
