Old Silver Spectacles and Book metal print by Suzanne Powers. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. My great grandmother's silver spectacles on an old book. At the turn of the century she road on horseback to White Sulfur Springs WV to marry my great grandfather who was the clerk of the court in the county. He died young, she was still pregnant with my great aunt when he passed, She raised five children with one of six children dying when an infant on the dairy farm through the depression years. She was one neat lady. All of the children went to college. My sister still has her side saddle from that ride.
