A window of a wig salon. The 18th Century is a popular time period for costumes worn by Venice Carnival revelers. This wig salon in Venice styles wigs for that period. The salons also offer a service to apply makeup. At Carnival time the customer can buy a wig and have their makeup applied at the same time for an event that day or evening. It is not unusual for Carnival goers to spend thousands of Euro dollars for a single costume complete with wig and makeup. A color photograph with textures.
