A hotel gondola dock lies across from the Rialto Fish Market in Venice, Italy. Beside me were two nice hotels with a gondola dock for their visitors. Sometimes things seem somewhat makeshift in crumbling Venice, for example the raw dock wood palings and disheveled red tarp at the Rialto Market. This appears in contrast to the surroundings although it doesn't hurt the photography. I found out from one of the shop keepers the mafia doesn't pay tax therefore Venice is double taxed! A posturized photograph.
